NEXO - Simply more flying
All you need to fly!
The NEXO (low LTF-B) is made for everyone who simply loves flying. Compact in feel, precise in handling and surprisingly capable, it combines passive safety with real XC potential and intuitive flight behaviour. From first thermal flights to long cross country days. From safety training to freestyle manoeuvres.
The NEXO simply makes flying feel good.
Simply fly
The NEXO was created around a clear idea.
Many pilots are no longer looking for an extreme wing. They want to go flying, enjoy thermals, cover distance and feel comfortable throughout the entire flight. That is exactly what the NEXO was designed for.
A wing with high passive safety, precise handling and real XC capability. Compact in feel. Clear in feedback. High performing without becoming demanding.
A modern allrounder for everyone who simply loves flying.
Compact and precise
The NEXO delivers exactly the kind of feedback pilots actually need in the air.
The canopy feels compact. Feedback remains clear without becoming nervous. There are no hectic load changes and no distracting wingtip movements.
The wing enters thermals cleanly and centers intuitively. In turns, it stays calm and flat. Handling feels direct and controlled.
The result is a thermalling experience that remains relaxed while climbing efficiently.
Safe
XC with confidence
The NEXO was developed for real cross country flying.
Its top speed feels closer to a far more demanding wing. The flight feeling does not.
The new NOVA profile generation provides excellent stability in accelerated flight. The air remains clearly noticeable. The canopy stays compact. Pitch movements are damped while the wing still feels alive. This creates a strong sense of confidence during long glides and demanding transitions.
The NEXO shows how enjoyable XC flying can feel.
Easy launches
The NEXO rises reliably and controllably above the pilot.
The canopy inflates quickly and climbs reliably through the center section. This keeps the wing easy to guide and control throughout launch. Near the top, the canopy naturally reduces its energy, making overshooting far less likely.
Even if pressure is released too early during inflation, the canopy remains manageable and can easily be guided back overhead.
The result is relaxed launches and more fun from the very first moment of the flight.
Safety with reserves
The NEXO was developed with a clear focus on passive safety.
During held collapse simulations, the wing shows very little tendency to rotate toward the collapsed side. Even in real collapses in turbulent conditions, reactions remain controlled and easy to understand. We have tested the NEXO beyond the certification standards.
Reopenings happen quickly. At the same time, the canopy builds very little additional energy. Especially after larger collapses, this helps reduce secondary reactions significantly. Particularly impressive is the behaviour in accelerated flight. Accelerated collapses differ only minimally from unaccelerated ones.
For us, one thing was clear:
A true low B wing proves its quality when conditions become serious.
Construction
Intentionally robust
The NEXO was not designed around minimum weight.
The focus was placed on durability, stability and a convincing flight feeling over many years of use.
High quality Porcher materials are used at the leading edge. In the center section, we use the updated coated Dominico 30D fabric. It combines long term durability with pleasant handling, even after frequent use in humidity, dust and demanding conditions. At the same time, the fabric never feels slippery.
Reduced complexity
Short rods in the nose reduce internal complexity and noticeably decrease packing volume. The risers remain intentionally simple. The line concept follows the same philosophy. Clear, trim stable and practical for everyday use.
The NEXO deliberately avoids unnecessary complexity.
Technology
Think outside the box.
Instead of dividing the in-built rods and fixing both curved pieces with seams, the rods here simply form a loop. This saves on seams, supports the Air Scoop principle and has no disadvantages in terms of weight and packing volume.
Consistent at top speed.
Using thin webbing at the leading edge, the upper and lower surfaces are connected in the middle of each cell. This promotes leading edge solidity in flight, which is particularly beneficial to performance when flying at speed.
Comfort on the ground.
All NOVA paragliders are simple and straightforward to handle. Using a cell pack bag is possible but not strictly necessary. Our long-standing experience shows that the packing method has only a minor influence on durability, as bent rods usually return to their original shape on their own.
What matters is storing the wing in a loosely packed, stress-free manner, so the rods are not subjected to sharp bends. Short-term compact packing or the use of a fast pack bag is unproblematic. For optimal long-term protection of the rods, we recommend a cell pack bag, as it keeps the rods neatly aligned and prevents permanent deformation.
A wing that stays interesting
The NEXO continues to offer enjoyment far beyond the first XC flights.
Its balanced energy behaviour makes safety training intuitive and enjoyable. At the same time, the canopy offers enough dynamics and precision for wingovers, SATs, helicopters and many other advanced manoeuvres.
The NEXO combines thermalling, XC capability and freestyle potential in an exceptionally wide range of use.
One flight. Many possibilities.
Modern by design
With the NEXO, the new NOVA design language now enters the EN B category.
Clean lines, reduced graphics and modern colors give the wing a calm yet dynamic appearance. This new design language first became visible on the XENON 1 and GLITCH and is closely linked to the modern NOVA generation many pilots associate with Theo de Blic.
Clean. Modern. Distinctive.

Weight range
For relaxed thermalling, we recommend flying the NEXO in the middle of the certified weight range.
Pilots who spend a lot of time accelerated between thermals will feel particularly comfortable in the upper third of the range.
For more dynamic flying and maximum agility, we recommend the upper end of the weight range.
