Policy on the right to cancel

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the goods.

Cancellation form

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (RDGW GmbH, Wasserkuppe 46, 36129 Gersfeld, Tel. 06654 - 91 90 55, Email: direkt@gleitschirm-direkt.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) regarding your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the cancellation form. 

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall refund to you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you post the goods before the end of the fourteen-day period.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. You will only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

• for the supply of goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which a personal choice or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs,
• for the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiry date would be quickly exceeded,
• for the supply of sealed goods which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return if their seal has been broken after delivery,
• for the supply of goods where, due to their nature, they have become inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery,
• for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package, where the seal has been broken after delivery,
• for the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.
