BIBETA 6: One wing – double pleasure
The new BIBETA 6 tandem for professionals will be launched in November. Development is finished and certification is under way.

The new BIBETA 6 takes the requirements of the tandem professional into account, with even more commitment than was the case with its predecessor. To do this we included several professional Interlaken tandem operators in an intensive development programme, for the first time. In doing so prototypes were progressively refined until the professionals’ expectations of takeoff, handling and landing qualities had all been exceeded.
The result is a tandem in two sizes, 38 and 41 (Takeoff weight 100 to 180 kgs and 120 to 225 kgs), which, despite the robust build, will surprise and impress because of their very compact folded size and the sensational weight of 6.95 kg for the 41, and 6.75 kg for the 38 version. The BIBETA 6 has only three riser levels and many fewer lines. Takeoff preparation is simplicity itself. Popular BIBETA 5 features, such as the big ears assistance with the Vary-Grip-System, are retained for the BIBETA 6.
The first BIBETA 6 will be delivered in November, just in time for the winter season. More information will follow soon. From early 2017 the new BIPRO 3 tandem harness will make a professional’s life even easier. In addition, a Companion SQR tandem reserve weighing less than 2.8 kg completes our tandem selection.
