The Fly Jacket is ideal for spring and autumn flying, as well as long-distance flights at altitude where pilots are exposed to wind and cold for extended periods. Thanks to its compact pack size, it is also perfectly suited for Hike&Fly missions.

Minimal pack size
For Hikee&Fly missions and long XC adventures, the Fly Jacket packs down small and stows into its own inner pocket. Compact enough to disappear in your backpack until you need it.
Upgraded zippers
The main zipper and pocket zippers have been upgraded to more durable hardware designed for heavy, daily use in flight. This increases longevity and reliability, even with frequent on/off cycles at take-off.
Optimized fit
The fit has been slightly refined for a more compact silhouette inside the harness while maintaining full freedom of movement. A special sleeve and shoulder construction prevents the sleeves from riding up when your hands are on the brakes. No more cold forearms in the airstream.
More robust outer material
The new nylon ripstop outer material, made from 100% recycled polyamide and treated with a DWR finish, is exceptionally durable and perfectly optimized for use inside the harness. This ensures your jacket retains its shape and performane even after many hours in a pod or seat harness.
Intelligente Insulation
The Fly Jacket combines 750 fill power down with strategically placed TirolWool® Responsive inserts on the back, cuffs, and collar. This body‑mapping approach ensures warmth exactly where you need it and maintains a balanced climate throughout your flight.
Protection in unstable conditions
The DWR–treated outer fabric reliably repels wind and moisture–ideal for typical spring and autumn conditions or long flights at altitude where temperatures drop significantly.
Clever storage for flight essentials
Two large zipped outer pockets remain accessible even when your chest strap is closed. Inside, two mesh pockets provide space for gloves, snacks, a power bank, or any essentials you want to keep within easy reach in flight.
Thought-through flight details
Integrated glove loops keep your gloves secure during flight. An extended hem and elastic waistband with silicone print prevent the jacket from riding up inside the harness, eliminating cold spots at the hips. A high, insulated, adjustable collar effectively shields your neck and face from wind. Easily adjustable cuffs with large Velcro tabs and a soft inner cuff stop cold air from entering the sleeves.
Unisex design, fresh look
The Fly Jacket is available as a unisex model in the color “faded green” and was developed together with Salewa. Co–branding with skywalk and Salewa emphasizes its engineered functionality and mountain–sports heritage.
